Jane Rome is managing Director at Insight Strategy Limited which is a retail management consultancy specialising in market and consumer research for the retail sector. The company also delivers strategic brand positioning and buying and merchandising training, working with several HE institutions.

Jane’s background is as a director of the Arcadia group where Jane covered buying and merchandising, supply chain, distribution , branch planning, research and corporate relations. Jane’s experience spans over 30 years in the retail industry and relates to both Fashion and hard goods.

Insight Strategy runs several research tracking studies across the retail market which provides up to date metrics of the market positioning of retailers, and current sector issues, helping to inform and support future strategic direction decisions.
